Dr. Hollingshead earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Zoology from Brigham Young University.  He went on to graduate from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine now the Kent State College of Podiatric medicine.  He completed his surgical training at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Denver, Colorado and Rose Medical Center, Denver, Colorado in 1991.  Dr. Hollingshead practiced podiatric medicine and surgery for fifteen years in Colorado and Nebraska. He is board certified and specialized in lower leg, ankle, and foot reconstruction.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine and a Diplomat in the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine.  He is the recipient of the highly esteemed Arthur J. Weissfeld Memorial Award for excellence in pediatric foot and ankle care.  He is the past president, and scientific chairman of the Colorado Podiatric Medical Association.  He is an adjunct professor of Biology, Anatomy, and Physiology at Southern Utah University and Dixie State University.  He serves as a volunteer leader of young adults from 18 to 30 years of age. He is a popular speaker and author. He is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.  He is married and has five children.
